It also has a safety camera database, so even if it is your first time driving on that road, it already has information regarding speed cameras.
With all these epic features, you might think that it is the better choice between the two. However, even though the Uniden R3 Extreme Long Range Radar does not have these convenient features, it is still the better radar. Why? Because it excels on the main purpose of getting a car radar, which is sensitivity.
When you use the one from Uniden R3, you can be immediately alerted from several meters away. Every time that a speed radar gets turned on, it will alert you. The same cannot be said with the one from the Escort Passport S55.
Yes, it has many features that help you map out stress points, but you cannot solely rely on it to give you accurate alerts. Better have a simple car radar that helps you not get a ticket than a swanky-looking one that gives false alerts, right?

But do take note that its accessories can be faulty. So, you also have to invest in other accessories so that you can properly mount this device and connect it to your car. Also, consistently pressing the indicator buttons can be annoying, but it is a small price to pay for the most sensitive radar in the market.
